 The Grant Screen Wall

The Grant Screen Wall     Grand Screen Wall, taking Qinhuai River, as its pool and with a lengh of 110m and a of 10m, is the larggest screen wall in China. It was first built during the third year in gn of Wanli Emperor, Ming Dynasty (A.D. 
1575) Balustrade standing oppesite to it on the north bank, was built in the ninth year of Emperor of Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1514) out of one stone tablet. The constraction has survived our wars and turmoils and so far is the best preserved builing.
