Taoye Dock is one of ancient showplaces of Nanjing, and is one
of Jinling 48 scenes. Taoye and
Taogen are sisters. They are Wang XainZhi's wives together. Wang
XianZhi is a
famous witer in East Jin Dynasty. When he was marrying with Taoye,he
received Taoye at the dock, hence the name.
Wang XianZhi wrote a poem to record this and the poem was
spred widely in that time. The dock was famous for this also.
